How the deadline and cost are calculated
Notice deadline = renewal date minus the calendar days entered. Monthly costs are multiplied by 12; annual costs are used as entered. This does not model business-day rules, vendor cutoff times, usage charges, currency conversion, taxes, or future price changes.
Example: a 30-day notice requirement
For a renewal on December 1, 2026, subtracting 30 calendar days gives November 1, 2026. With 60 days, the result is October 2. These are arithmetic examples: verify the vendor’s cutoff, timezone and cancellation method.
How to interpret the result
Notice date = entered renewal date − entered calendar days. Business days, month-based rules and vendor cutoff times require a separate check.
